We have inspired an extensive level of collaboration between sectors, and created such a dynamic and infectious “buzz” amongst our citizens.  Perhaps even more importantly, the enormous potential of the water industry offers optimism; optimism that will shine a spotlight on the Milwaukee region both nationally and internationally.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA is considered one of the world’s most significant hubs for water research and industry because of its established and extensive history engaged in the study, treatment, storage and movement of water within the full water cycle.  Coalescing this water technology network of business, higher education and non-governmental organizations (NGO) into a dynamic and powerful cluster is The Water Council, the only organization of its kind in the United States.  Created by leaders in both business and education, The Water Council is:

Director of The BREW. She has worked with The Water Council since 2008. Elizabeth leads, monitors and coordinates all parts and partners with The BREW. 

Linda Reid, J.D.

Executive Director of the Institute for Water Business (IWB); part of the University of Wisconsin Whitewater (UWW).  Linda is part of our consulting team.

Lisa Johnson

VP of Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation(WEDC). She has an active role in making connections.
